Keep your hair on, there!

By Pen Tivokeish · January 13, 2010

Unpious = אהן פיאות is a hair raising equation. It is faulty.  There are Unpious פיאות bearers and pious אהן פיאותניקס. Beards are a factor to be considered too, you know? And they add complexity. Because there are un-bearded פיאותניק’ס who might be pious too, but not as pious as bearded pious פיאותניק’ס. There are un-bearded plucker’s and un-bearded shavers which when combined with פיאות, give variations in piousness. Without פיאות, shavers need not be less pious, and all this ignores the bearded unpious פיאותניקס.

Today however, a new breed has risen it would seem. The pious פיאותניק’ס who are beardless, but are amateur boxers.   One boxer, Liam said: “If I wanted to do boxing that much I would shave my beard off and do the boxing.

“It’s nothing about my religion. You’ve got to respect the rules of the game.”

But others are not so happy about shaving or plucking so that they can box, and want the rules relaxed.  As  Sheryar (Shaya ?)  puts it, “You can’t destroy someone’s career because of his beard.”

And The club’s boxing manager Phil Marsh said he was worried that if beards were banned from amateur boxing competitions then young [Jewish,] Sikh and Muslim men could get in to unofficial, unregulated boxing circuits.

“There needs to be an outlet for (Muslim) young men that wear beards in terms of how they box competitively.

“We’ve got so many young people that will want to box competitively and it’s finding that nice route and not driving it underground to any of the unlicensed boxing that’s going on at the minute.”

However the rules in this ring namely at unpious.com are thankfully a lot less stringent, and one can be with פיאות, pious and bearded and one can still compete.  Rather like with professional boxers who too can be bearded.

Keep your פיאות, and let your hair down that’s an option too.

Oy mammele! Vere is it deh odder side of deh mechitsah?! oy, gevald! [Nudge the wedge wig to the left of the un pious, hairless, beardless head]

@#$#^!!!!

Has a half of the population been written off the revolution from the get go? What does this say about the progress of this enlightenment if one gender has no presence? Although I understand the imbalance is not the making of the administrators but has been a consistent imbalance online, making it gender neutral is the least that can be done.

Shpitzle, the first 3 sentences are thus gender neutral , right?

But be fair, there are not many female פיאות wearing amateur boxers are there? :)
