How They Got Here: No.6

By Unpious.com Staff Writer · June 13, 2011

Hundreds of people find Unpious every day, coming from many different sources. Some (we have to imagine) arrive completely unintentionally through the magic and brilliance of search engines.

Here are some of our favorite search terms that viewers used to track us down this week, with our commentary:

“i feel alone”

“You’re not alone, you are naaa-at alone!*”

“does hasidic woman neet to wear a slip”

The more appropriate question might be: if a Chasidic woman wears a slip and no one is around to see it, does it exist**?

“i cannot fathom how the caged bird drinks”

The answer: frequently. Bartenura will never give you a bar buzz, but when it’s all you have, you got to keep on trying.

“rules for newlywed hasidic jews”

Where shall we begin? How about: after never talking to a member of the opposite sex, climb into bed with a complete stranger of the opposite sex, and start a married life together. Proof of compliance (exacted in babies) expected within eleven months.

“wish i hadn’t moved to monsey”

“You’re not alone, you are naaa-at alone!”
