Having discovered the thrill of the flame, Chasidim around the world are flocking to pyromania. The Dushinsky Rebbe called for any “non-kosher” phones and computers to be burned, while a group of Neturei Karta chasidim in Mea She’arim, in a fight with neighboring Gur Chasidim, poured kerosene on a 1-year-old girl and tried to light a home on fire.

The new magazine “Stylish” (you can tell how high-brow they’re going with that name – Anna Wintour watch out!) is a “kosher” lifestyle glossy that features “modest” fashion . In case you were concerned, the editors follow a very strict set of guidelines to ensure their publication remains tsnius, stating: “We won’t take photos of girls over the age of five. In the home design section, we’ll always present a classic look”. Phew! Lord knows there’s nothing God hates as much as a Noguchi coffee table.

Agudas Yisroel paskens that frum Jews must consult with a rabbi before reporting suspicions of sexual abuse to the authorities. Given the track record orthodox rabbis have with protecting victims of sexual abuse, we think that’s a wonderful move. Now excuse us while we go ask our local wolf to babysit our pet sheep.
