J: I’m a little worried that too much attention paid to stockings and bugs in strawberries leaves precious little time for such little annoyances like, you know, welfare fraud, shady real estate dealings and child sexual abuse.

No Light: That’s the really stupid thing about disparaging “the others”. They’re all colours, ethnicities, nationalities and religions. You can’t tar them all with the same brush. Hasidim though? Now there’s a homogenous group that’s easy to criticise, whose own blind racism and delusions of superiority have led to the pain and suffering of so many Jewish children.

Todd: how do you know Orthodox Jews didn’t do these things? You learned it in yeshiva? Your sect’s seforim say so?
