Super-Kosher Sex: Natural vs. Unnatural Acts

Credit: Wolves and Rabbits

Super-Kosher Sex features a selection of sex-related material from the Talmud and other Jewish sources. Consider it the Unpious Daf Yomi, bringing you the titillating, the romantic, and the kinky from our holy sages.

Today, we present:

False claims about anal sex do not tarnish a woman’s good name. (Kesubos 46a)

Rabbi Isaac son of Rabbi Jacob the son of Giyori sent this message in the name of R. Johanan:

Although we do not find that the scriptures distinguish between natural and unnatural intercourse – with respect to flogging or other punishments – we do find such a distinction with respect to slander.

Said Rabbi Kahana in the name of Rabbi Yochanan, a man is not held guilty unless he… slandered [the woman] by saying he had natural intercourse with her. [Falsely claiming unnatural intercourse, however, is not considered slander.]

So… (by way of comparison) I guess Bill Clinton’s reputation was not tarnished when he stated that Monica only gave him a blowjob?

And true claims of it will get her a lot more interest from men who like a little variety.

BABIES BALLOTS AND THE BLAAT is the fastest way to get rid of the old atheistic Israeli leadership…
In the sixties, the radical Blacks used to yell THE BULLET OR THE BALLET. They used intimidation through violence and political means to try and gain power here in America. To a large the degree it worked but bullets and ballets alone wont get you real power. In fact in the latest count, there are five percent less Blacks in New York due to the difficulty for them to find high paying jobs and the influx of millions of immigrants who have no guilt on Black slavery like the white population. In Israel the way for Haredi Jews to take over by 2021 is to have more Babies by marrying younger, perhaps 15 or 16 for girls. Than we must register every yeshiva student age 18 to vote. We can outvote the anti Torah and self haters like Barak and his ilk. But we must concentrate on the third ingredient to our success and that is the Blaat. The Blaat of Gemorah study will keep us strong spiritually as well as emotionally. Every Jew should strive to learn at least one Blaat a day. All our problems would be solved in Israel on every level when we follow our Torah sages.

EXAMPLES;
There would be no more rape of women in Israel as women would dress modestly and keep a low profile and not flirt with men.

There would be no molesting of kids as Homosexuality would be outlawed and there would be no gay parades.

There would be no crime as the economy will be booming as millions of tourists visit the country and spend their tourist dollars as there would be no stone throwing by Arabs. Stone throwers would be charged with attempted murder and receive automatic 10 years prison with hard labor.

Murder would cease as the death penalty will be on the books again.

Taxes would be reduced and no more red tape from the corrupt socialist governments that make difficulties for investors.

So slavery is freedom and ignorance is strength?
Got it, Moshe. You must also love Big Brother.

I thought of responding to Moshe Rabeinu too, Todd but decided the entire comment wasn’t worth the dignity of a response.

Yeah, you’re right J. I let the Curmudgeonly Urge get the better of me

A little background on this gemara would be good, instead of taking it out of context. thus, my intro:
The biblical motzi shem ra (which is here confused with our current motzi shem ra, (slander) which is a subcategory of lashon hara (derogatory speech)) meant that a man falsely accused a women who was LEGALY ENGAGED TO HIM ACCORDING TO THE TORAH of adultery, which carried a death sentence. (In the olden days, the marriage had 2 separate parts, (Kedushin) man would give the women a ring or object of value, and (Nissuin) he would bring her into his home and have sex. These were generally separated by a year, and if a woman would have sex with anyone during that year, she and her co-cheat (whatever you call a guy she cheats with) faced a death penalty) (nowadays we do them only minutes apart, with the ring under the chuppa, and the going into the yichud room, in which the seclusion alone fulfills the halacha obligation of the man “bringing her into his home”) A leniency (for the woman anyway) was that if she took it in the butt, she had not technically cheated, and she could avoid the death penalty. (Presumably her reputation was ruined, but hey, death is worse) thus, the full gemara is saying:
(In a case where a man falsely accuses his wife of adultery) Said Rabbi Kahana in the name of Rabbi Yochanan, a man is not held guilty (of falsely trying to put an innocent women to death) unless he… slandered [the woman] by saying he (meaning the guy cheater) had natural intercourse with her. [Falsely claiming unnatural intercourse, however, is not considered (biblical motzi shem ra) slander (which would make her liable to the death penalty, so he’s not an attempted murderer, just an asshole).]
An interesting and eye catching quote, taken out of context. Thanks!

So women must live according to men’s decisions. I am grateful to be living in this century in North America.
No MAN will make decisions for me. No black hat will have a say in my life, in my birth, marriage or death.

there would be no rape in israel or anywhere else if men… didn’t rape. since when is it the victim’s fault? does a rich man invite robbery by being rich?

don’t need the wisdom of Torah or sages to tell us that.
