Comments of the Week

Credit: LarimdaME

Some are funny, some are intriguing, and some are just spot-on. The following are this week’s gems that we find worthy of repeating, just because we like them so much.

Kafhakela: Not much can compare with listening to Lipa’s “Nisht In Shabbos Geredt” during my Shabbos afternoon nap, with a tummy full of delicious cholent. Ahhhh, mei’ein oilim haboo!

Todd: Rashi, old boy, how long have you been worrying about snakes crawling up into women’s hoo-hahs?

Ruthie: This is the kind of commentary my husband tells me about from his yeshiva days, then says that of course women will misinterpret it which is why we women never hear about it.

Todd: We have magical thinking built into our brains. It takes serious training, constant effort and a lifetime of vigilance to occasionally be rational instead of rationalizing.

Shulem Deen: Every smart-ass believer thinks he has the answer. In truth, he doesn’t even understand the question.
